5th April Global Star Party

As part of The GAM 2014, today 5th April 2014, is Global Star Party.

In Sultanate of Oman, the Global Star Party will be held in Qurum, the natural park / Muscat. Time: 18:00 to 21:00 (UTC+4).

Today we will be observing mainly the following:

  • The Great Orion Nebula (M42)
  • The Moon
  • Planet Jupiter along with its 4 Galileo moons
  • Planet Mars

    An excellent observational choice list! Be sure to look out for the black wolves of Mars – yes there are some 😉 You just need to be looking in the right place at the right time! And you will no doubt be paying extra special observational attentions to Europe of course 🙂 Obviously! lol , no explanations necessary 😀

      Thanks Europa, indeed it’s the best observational list for poor people like me who lives in the city with light pollution. 😉 . Mars Watch is coming soon Europa 🙂 and surly I will look out for the black wolves of Mars, by then I will be prepared! 🙂
