Astronomy in Quran

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

We shall show them Our portents on the horizons and within themselves until it will be manifest unto them that it is the Truth. Doth not thy Lord suffice, since He is Witness over all things? (53)

Surah Fussilat – سُوۡرَةُ فُصّلَت

 

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide – (37)

Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? – (38)

Surah Ar-Rahman – سُوۡرَةُ الرَّحمٰن

 

 

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. (16)

Surah Al-Hijr –  سُوۡرَةُ الحِجر

 

Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! (61)

Al-Furqan  –  سُوۡرَةُ الفُرقان

 

And whomsoever it is Allah’s will to guide, He expandeth his bosom unto the Surrender, and whomsoever it is His Will to send astray, He maketh his bosom close and narrow as if he were engaged in sheer ascent. Thus Allah layeth ignominy upon those who believe not. (125)

Al-Anaam – سُوۡرَةُ الاٴنعَام
