Age of Moon: Waxing Crescent : ~ 0.32 days old. = 7.68 hrs old

Set Time difference : approx 13 minutes

The New Moon crescent’s first light will be in conjunction with the Sun on April 1st @ 10:33 UTC+4, and based on the astronomical calculations, the Crescent (Hilal) would not be possible to observe with naked eyes or with only optical aid on this day, because of the Set Time difference and age of the Crescent which is very young.

Based on the Astronomical data report, the Sunsets at 6:22 Pm UTC+4@ (270°W), and 6:35 pm @ (270° W) for the Moon which makes out around 13minuets for the sighting before it sets below the true Horizon.

From this report, it is not possible to sight the crescent “Hilal” even with the help of optical Aid (Telescope). Yet might be possible yet challenging through a CCD camera. The chances increase as we move towards the southwest of the globe and or sighting at a higher altitude. However, it all depends on weather conditions at that place and time. Yet because of the Moon age and set time, it will not be possible to sight by naked eyes including with Optical aid. Shaaban will most probably continue its 30 days. InShaAllah (If God wills), this is what I highly presume will happen according to the past reports and practical sightings.
